Our region of Minnesota offers a wonderful array of natural beauty and a variety of interesting experiences for hikers. Oak savanna, pine forest, prairie remnants, rivers, lakes and marshland are all waiting to be explored. Hikes are on uneven, unpaved trails with rugged or semi-rugged terrain. You need to have the ability to hike for two hours with breaks. Transportation is by carpool to the destination. Meet at the Northfield Senior Center parking lot at 7:45 a.m. The tour leaves at 8 a.m. sharp.
