We are pleased to offer online registration for learning opportunities and activities for people of all ages. Many fun, enriching classes are waiting for you! Browse at your leisure! Thank you for using our online registration process.

 

Online Registration is Easy

You may securely register online with Discover, VISA or MasterCard. Click 'Complete Registration' button on the left-hand side of the screen, choose your classes and pay for them. It's that easy! Information submitted online is kept in strict confidence. Our website is secure and safe. We do not share infromation with outside organizations. If you do not want to register online, download the registration form, in PDF format.

 

Liability

The Northfield Public Schools Community Services Division does not provide accident insurance for participants in any of its programs or activities. By registering online or by phone, participants assume all inherent risk of injury resulting from their involvement in programs or activities.

 

Photo Release

The Northfield Public Schools Community Services Division often takes photographs of classes or programs to use in brochures and on the web. If you do not want pictures of you or your child used, contact our office at (507)664-3649.

 

Refund Policy

If there is insufficient enrollment for a program, you will be notified and receive a full refund within 45 days. If you cancel or change your registration, there will be a $5 processing fee. Unless otherwise indicated, no refunds will be made after the registration deadline.


Featured Events
Introduction to Archery - ages 12 and older

Any youth or adult interested in learning more about the basics of archery is welcome to attend this class. Instructors will have all necessary equipment for the students or bring your own equipment.

4803-S10A and S10B are postponed - alternative dates will be posted once determined.



Hula Hoop Fitness

HOOP IT UP AND GET FIT
 
Think you can't hoop? Now you can with this unique, manufactured, adult-sized, three-pound hula hoop. You'll utilize the hoop for a great cardio dance workout, yoga, mat exercises to tone and stretching. You'll be amazed at what a versatile exercise tool the hoop is and what a fabulous way hula hooping is to work your entire body. Bring a mat, supportive aerobic shoes and clothes to sweat in.


Doggy Dip

3RD ANNUAL DOGGY DIP - THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2ND, 3:30 P.M. - 6 P.M.

Bring your pooch to the Northfield Outdoor Pool to help us celebrate and to show off your dog's front crawl, breast stroke or doggy paddle. $4.50 for the first dog and $2.75 for each additional dog from the same household.

Fall Recreation
Flag Football - grades 2 - 5

Flag football provides the opportunity to experience the excitement of playing football without rough contact. This class introduces fundamentals of the game through practice and games on assigned teams. Footballs, flag belts, flags, T-shirt and mouth guard are provided. All team assignments and information will be available for pick-up on Thursday, Sept. 9 at Sechler Park. Second and third grades should arrive at 6:30 p.m.; fourth and fifth grades should arrive at 7 p.m. Rain site is the Sechler Park Shelter.



Youth Floor Hockey - grades K - 5

Hit the floor before hitting the ice. You will enjoy this program which covers the fundamentals of floor hockey, teamwork and sportsmanship. Games will be played each week. The program is open to boys and girls.



Nordic Walking- for Health & Fitness

Want to feel more limber, have better posture and get toned? Give the latest fitness craze that Europeans have been enjoying for a few years a try. You walk with poles that are somewhat similar to X/C poles, but are specifically designed for walking. The walking technique learned is enjoyable and works out 90 percent of your muscles. You'll have up to a 46 percent perceived exertion of energy burned over traditional walking. Nordic Walking Demo Poles are available for use during class time or for purchase. Class will be held indoors at Bridgewater Elementary in case of inclement weather.



Whats New
Teen Kickboxing - ages 12 - 18

Grab your friends and join the fun. This class uses the buoy kickboxing bags and traditional kickboxing moves for an awesome cardio workout. This class is fast moving and easy to follow.



Future Raiders Soccer Camp - grades K - 5

Get started on your future as a Raiders soccer player! Drills and games will be led by varsity coaching staff and players. Players will be divided by age and ability. Bring your own water bottle and soccer ball if you have one.



Teen Spinning - ages 12 - 18

Ride to the rythm of powerful music and take on the terrain. Your inspiring team coach will lead the pack through a 45-minute, high-calorie burning workout. Discover the athlete within.
